How to plan and optimize your driving route in Opervo
Open Route Planner and pick the day; every job booked that day shows up as a stop. Set where your day starts, then tap Optimize Route to see the miles and driving time for the whole day. Keep booked times holds your appointments in order, while Best route finds the shortest drive and flags any stop that no longer fits its time. You can also drag stops into your own order, see them on the map, start navigation in Google Maps, and save the order as a template for another day.

Step by step
- Route planner. Route Planner turns a day's jobs into a list of stops, in the order you'll drive them.
- Pick the day. Use the arrows or tap the date to plan any day. Every job booked that day shows up as a stop.
- Where you start. Set where your day starts: your current location, or an address like your home or shop.
- Keep booked times. Keep booked times holds your appointments in order. Jobs booked for the same time are put in the shortest order.
- Optimize. Tap Optimize Route, and Opervo shows the miles and driving time for the whole day.
- Best route. Best route ignores booked times and finds the shortest drive. Any stop that no longer fits its time gets flagged.
- Flagged stops. Call those clients to move their appointments, or switch back to Keep booked times and re-optimize.
- Your own order. You can also drag any stop by its handle to put the day in your own order.
- The map. Switch to Map to see every stop and the drive between them.
- Start navigation. Start Navigation opens Google Maps with your stops in order, ready to drive.
- Templates. Like the order? Save it as a template, and use it on another day with the same clients.
